Another stowaway kid arrested in Lagos

Another attempted stowaway kid was Sunday, arrested by airport security officers at the airside of the Lagos Airport, as he allegedly wanted to stowaway on an Allied Air Cargo aircraft that was preparing to take-off.

The teenager whose name was not made public, attempting to sneak into the airplane before take-off, but was spotted by the airside staffers of the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company, NAHCo, who were handling the aircraft.

He was immediately arrested and handed over to the Aviation Security, (AVSEC) of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).

DailyPost could not ascertain where the boy was taken to at the time of filling this report.

There have been rising attempts by young Nigerians to stowaway, following the success of a 14-year old Daniel Ihekina, who was arrested on August 24, 2013 after sneaking into the tyre compartment of a Lagos-bound Arik plane from Benin.
