De Raufs’ Volunteer Group offers scholarship for wheel compartment boy!

ABUJA: HARD FACTS WITH KIMBERLY (@BIKimberly)

De Raufs’ Volunteer Group has offered a scholarship up to university level to the 13- year-old Daniel Oikhena, who emerged from the wheel compartment of an Arik Air flight from Benin Airport to Lagos last Saturday.

De Raufs, a group extolling the leadership qualities of the Governor of the State of Osun - Rauf Aregbesola, in a statement, stressed that it was ready to give scholarship to Master Oikhena up to university level to help him realise his dream of travelling by air legitimately.

Director-General of the Group - Amitolu Shittu said ambitious citizens of Nigeria like Master Oikhena must not be suffocated on the altar of political and bureaucratic enforcement.

He added that rather the little boy’s ambition should be nurtured through qualitative education, and his group is ready to give him all the necessary supports.

HMMM.... WHAT DO YOU THINK, GOOD MOVE?

HERE ARE SOME COMMENTS ON THIS

@Bemsar : Giving the boy on Arik a scholarship is rewarding a crime. In the US he would be remanded.

@DimitriCFC : in the US, he won't be remanded if he is white, he will be recognised as an achiever

@JuniorAmanze : Hackers in the US are given automatic work NSA, CIA, FBI"

@Olofof1 : Thats not true. For 1 thing, he is underage. So u cant bring the full weight of the law on... him anywhere in the world. On the other hand the scholarship from the Gov. is just an act ..of empathy on the part of Daniel
