“Our wins against Fenerbahce and Fulham will not stop me from buying players” – Wenger


Wenger staresArsene Wenger has insisted that his team’s 3-0 win over Fenerbahce and the 3-1 success against Fulham on Saturday, will not change his plans in the transfer market.
He said: “No. We will be a bit less under media pressure maybe but that will not change exactly. I know exactly what I want to do and that will not change.”
Speaking ahead of the Turkish team’s visit to the Emirates for the second leg of their Champions League kick-off, the Gunners boss said he will not be resting players, even with a commanding lead.
“No. [We'll] just try to win it on Tuesday. For us it’s important to finish the job and get the focus right. We have made a big step but it’s not over the line. Now we want to finish the job because that’s a big part of our season. The group stage of the Champions League is highly-important. I will not rest players on Tuesday night, certainly not.”

Barely two weeks after 32 leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, decamped to the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Borno State, DailyPost has again learnt that over thirty campaign officials of the PDP, under the Mohammed Goni, 2011 Governorship Campaign organisation have dumped the party. The 63 members of the ruling party who defected on separate days and in three groups, said they moved to the APC because of Governor Kashim Shettima’s persuasive style of governance; his good management of the Boko Haram crisis and his landmark achievements since he assumed office.   Nigerian lawmakers have made diverse comments on the merger of the new Peoples Democratic Party (nPDP) and the All Progressives Alliance (APC), a development expected to generated unexpected debates related to its consequences in the plenaries of the upper and lower chambers. The merger will be a source of worry for lawmakers, as they will have to consider the legal implications if they decide to move with the governors of the states they represent.
