BREAKING: Rivers State Commissioner of Sports shot by unknown men

Rivers State Commissioner of Sports, Hon. Fred Igwe has been shot by yet to be identified gunmen at Eleme interchange.
The Rivers State Police command through its image maker, DSP Angela Agabe has confirmed the incident
The condition of the commissioner is unclear as details are still sketchy.

IG of Police MD Abubakar set to remarry in September

According to a report by Sahara Reporters , Nigeria's Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar is getting ready to re-marry a year and a half after loosing his wife, Maryam Abubakar, to cancer. (Mrs Abubakar died in January 2012) IG Abubakar will be engaging in a three-day wedding ritual to 35 year old Safiya (pictured above with him). Their wedding proper will take place on Saturday September 14th. Sahara Reporters obtained a photo from a series of photos taken during a photo shoot in preparation for their grand wedding.
