BREAKING: El-Rufai appears at SSS office in Abuja; Amaechi, Ngige accompanies

 A former FCT Minister, Mallam Nasir El-rufai has  honoured the summon by the Department of State  Security.
 The chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC)  is accompanied by Rivers State Governor, Rotimi  Ameaechi, Senator Chris Ngige, among others  opposition leaders.
El-rufai was invited last Thursday by agency in connection with a speech he made at an event about a week ago.
According to him, the 2015 general elections will be bloody if the votes of the people does not count.
His comment coincided with the release of a warning by the SSS, cautioning politicians against provocative statements that may heat up the country.

IG of Police MD Abubakar set to remarry in September

According to a report by Sahara Reporters , Nigeria's Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar is getting ready to re-marry a year and a half after loosing his wife, Maryam Abubakar, to cancer. (Mrs Abubakar died in January 2012) IG Abubakar will be engaging in a three-day wedding ritual to 35 year old Safiya (pictured above with him). Their wedding proper will take place on Saturday September 14th. Sahara Reporters obtained a photo from a series of photos taken during a photo shoot in preparation for their grand wedding. We will never allow another despot rule Nigeria again – Atiku

Former Vice President, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar has explained why he contested the 2007 presidential elections. According to Atiku, he ran for the office of the president to preserve the sanctity of the nation’s democracy. The Turaki Adamawa in a statement issued on Sunday noted that he will never allow another despot to preside over the affairs of the country again. Atiku said after his first term as Vice President, he was faced with a fundamental question of remaining loyal to his boss, Obasanjo and the party or the constitution and democracy.
