It’s official! Arsenal confirms arrival of goalkeeper Viviano from Palermo

Arsenal have signed Italian goalkeeper Emiliano Viviano on a season-long loan.
The 27-year-old will provide back up and competition for Wojciech Szczsesny and Lukasz Fabianski. Viviano spent the last season on loan at Fiorentina and kept 11 clean sheets in 32 league games.
Arsène Wenger speaking about his new man, said: “Viviano is a player that we have rated for some time and we are very pleased to have signed him on loan. He’s experienced and has proved himself at a high level, and provides us with excellent cover to our existing goalkeepers.”
The deal includes an option to buy next summer.
